Ich bin sehr begeistert von Dr. Martin Zechner. Er nimmt sich sehr viel Zeit für Patienten und erklärt sehr verständlich die Zusammenhänge. Auch habe ich den Eindruck, dass er trotz seines jungen Alters sehr kompetent ist.

Mein Besuch im AllDent-Zentrum Köln war ein Paradebeispiel dafür, wohin sich Teile der Zahnmedizin in dieser Stadt entwickeln: weniger echte Gesundheitsversorgung, dafür eine immer aggressivere Upselling-Maschinerie.

Gestern die Notbehandlung – solide. Heute die Kontrolle – ein Totalausfall. Termin um 15:30 Uhr, der Arzt erscheint um 16:25 Uhr. Über eine Stunde Wartezeit, ohne Information, ohne Entschuldigung.

Der behandelnde Zahnarzt (Mitte 30) trat auf wie ein Verkäufer, nicht wie ein Mediziner. Der Ton herablassend, teilweise so, als würde ich kein Deutsch verstehen – absolut unangemessen. Fachliche Aufklärung? Fehlanzeige. Stattdessen Verkaufsphrasen wie:
– „Qualität hat ihren Preis.“
– „Viele Praxen machen das – aber schlecht.“
– „Sie müssen investieren, sonst wird es gefährlich.“

Dann der Höhepunkt: 560 € für eine einzige Wurzelbehandlung. Ohne klare Begründung, ohne Alternativen, aber mit deutlichem Druck.

Ich erwarte Transparenz, Respekt und eine medizinisch fundierte Beratung – keine Verkaufsrhetorik und keine Angstmacherei. Genau solche Erlebnisse zerstören das Vertrauen in ein ohnehin sensibles Gesundheitssystem.

Mein Fazit: Hier geht es nicht mehr um Patienten. Hier geht es primär um Umsatz.

TOURISTS – BE CAREFUL!!!
They ask for €150 deposit, saying they will charge for the service and return the remaining balance. They never return anything, and find the way to charge all of it.

I came to AllDent because my ceramic inlay fell out and I needed to glue it back. I paid the deposit and filled up a detailed form for the refund. The Doctor gave me 2 options: to glue it back with a temporary glue, or to take and x-ray, and if everything is ok to put the permanent glue. First easy option he said is around 18€, and second would be more but still within 150€ deposit. I asked for an easy temporary option.

Since the inlay was ceramic and fitted perfectly, the assistant put the glue on it, sticked it back and that was it. The whole procedure was 5 minutes long, no drilling or anything else was done.

They didn’t tell me the final cost, saying it will take some time for the money to come back. One month later with no reply, I emailed them and they said “there is no remaining balance, and there will be no refund”. Then they sent an invoice where I could see what exactly they charged 150€. They mention time consuming, difficult procedures and services that never took place. It looks like they come up with tasks and prices, just so they can use up the whole deposit.

I am very disappointed with this kind of treatment, in my opinion this is a scam for tourists. When you leave, there is nothing you can do. I tried to get an explanation, but they ignore me completely.
