I was looking for liposuction in Prague, but found that it was extremely difficult to get in touch with any clinics as they did not respond to emails or even answer their phones. Prague Medica, and a lovely lady called Iveta, find all the information required, from a choice of clinics and surgeons, and even offer to help with transfers and accommodation if needed. And most importantly answered all of my many, many questions throughout the whole journey. A lady called Katja met me on the day of the procedure at the clinic which was extremely reassuring, especially when in a foreign country with potential language barriers, and stayed with me right up until it was time for me to go the room. Even after the discharge from the clinic, and in the days following, they are consistently checking on you and your recovery. Thank you for all your help!!!!

zunächst einmal möchten wir uns beim gesamten Team von NeoVize für die Betreuung vor, während und nach der Augen OP bedanken. Wir würden es wieder machen,
Allerdings finden wir, dass in den meisten Bewertungen nicht alles geschrieben wird, deswegen haben wir uns entschlossen etwas ins Detail gehen zu wollen.
1. die Vorbereitung, Voruntersuchung und Beratung war ganz Hevorragend, leider war unsere Dolmetscherin am ersten Tag etwas sprach faul,
2. erste OP auch hier lief alles prima ab, vor der zweiten OP stand noch eine Untersuchung des ersten Auges an.
3. Nachuntersuchung nach der zweiten OP, wir haben uns eigentlich während der gesamten Zeit sehr wohl gefühlt.
Normalerweise sagen sie, dass nach der letzten Untersuchung die Heimreise angetreten werden kann, wir haben Gott sei dank, noch einen weiteren Tag in Prag verbracht, dennoch war die Heimreise nicht unbedingt schön weil die Sicht auf die weite noch eingeschränkt war (es war auf die weite alles verschwommen)
4. die Tage danach waren mit Höhen und Tiefen, die Nahsicht war eigentlich gleich nach der OP ziemlich gut und wurde von Tag zu Tag immer besser, leider ist die Sicht auf die Ferne auch nach jetzt 5 Wochen noch nicht optimal, hängt aber auch mit dem Wetter zusammen, Trockenes Wetter hohe Luftfeuchtigkeit usw., das wurde uns aber in Prag auch gesagt, kann wohl bis zu einem halben Jahr anhalten, aber wie gesagt es wird besser
Fazit: Es ist trotz allem eine OP und doch würden wir es, trotz der Einschränkungen in den ersten Wochen wieder machen.

Good service. Only fault is the perception I had to get buy NEVANAC. Not told what is was for. Only info I got was from Chemist that wrote 2 times a day 3 weeks after op. It looks like I will run low on the MAXITROL.

My husband and I went to the clinic after I made contact with Blanka of PRAGA MEDICA. She was great! Everyone was. Even though there was a small communication gap, it was a truly amazing experience and I would recommend it for anyone. Also, Prague-beautiful!

Wir hatten mehrere erfolglose Versuche in Deutschland, uns wurde angeraten über eine Eizellspende nachzudenken. Nachdem wir eine erfolglose IVF mit Eizellspende in einer anderen Klinik hatten, haben wir uns dann für diese Klinik entschieden, einfach wegen der kürzeren Entfernung. Die Klinik macht von aussen einen nicht so tollen Eindruck, von innen ist sie aber wirklich top!
Die Beratung durch Dr. Alexander und seine Assistentin Jana war gut und ausführlich, vor allem immer freundlich. Wir hatten 6 sehr gute Embryonen wovon 4 kryokonserviert wurden. Ich musste mir keine Hormonspritzen geben sowie beim letzten Mal, dass fand ich gut, Tabletten sind mir lieber. Der Transfer war relativ schmerzfrei. Ich sollte danach 1 Stunde liegen was ich als angenehm empfand, danach ging es heim. Prag ist eine schöne Stadt, in der sich die 3 Tage bis zum Transfer gut verbringen liesen. Leider war der Versuch negativ und wir werden demnächst einen Kryoversuch starten. Die Klinik ist jedenfalls zu empfehlen.

I had both my eye lenses replaced with trifocals lenses and had the incision done by the laser. I was also told when i was in Prague i had stigmas in both eyes so needed special lenses which cost more. I paid 4400 Euro for the lenses and laser and an extra 750 Euro for the special shaped lenses.
The clinic is great, clean and nearly everyone speaks English. My contact was Helena who was very responsive. I actually had some friends who had used this clinic before and the surgeon so that is why i decided to have my eyes done here.
The only thing i would say is i feel they dont give you enough information about how you eyes will be afterwards and feel its a bit downplayed. i understand that everyone is different so i can only give my own review.
When i asked Helena how i would be after the operation, she said fine, i asked would i be able to go out for dinner with no problems, she said oh yes, but i wasn’t fine. I didn’t feel great and didn’t go out of the hotel most of the time i was there after my operations.
I am now in my forth week since i had my surgery and my eyes are sill not great. I have really bad sensitivity to light, so much so that i need to wear sunglasses even at night watching TV.
I work in front of a PC all day at work and its very hard all day with the lights on the office and the screens. Although i am not wearing glasses, my eyes are still extremely blurry and watering.
I did contact Praga Medica and they told me to see an optician here which i did. He prescribed two lots of eyes drops.
Im hoping this will get better as im sure i am still healing and maybe its worse for me as i work in an office. My eyes have just started to feel less scratchy with regards to the incisions and that is after a month.
The halos from any sorts of lights are not just at night as i was informed but during the day too. I have tried to drive but it feels really wrong and uncomfortable, luckily i have a partner who can drive me.
There was 3 other English people who i spoke to in the hotel who was also having their eyes done at Praga Medica, the man who also had the laser seemed to also be having problems afterwards to. Unfortunately i dont have anyone’s numbers so i cant ask them how they are. I think the healing is going to take a lot longer than i thought, maybe me being stupid but i did think my eyes wouldn’t be this bad a month on.

Grundsätzlich kann ich die Klinik guten Gewissens empfehlen. Herr Dr. Tvaruzek hat sich sehr persönlich um meine Belange gekümmert und stand mir jederzeit für Fragen zur Verfügung. Die Klinik arbeitet professionell, man merkt, dass man sich hier nicht in einer Art Beautyklinik mit OP Tisch befindet, sondern in einem Krankenhaus mit komplettem Klinikbetrieb. Dies ist gut zu wissen, ….sollten Komplikationen auftreten. Allerdings habe ich davon nichts gehört und ich selbst kann nur berichten, dass alles reibungslos und ohne Komplikationen verlief. Einzig die Englischkenntnisse (idealerweise deutsch) der Schwestern sollten etwas verbessert werden. Dies wäre hier und da doch hilfreich.

I went to Praga Medica for lens replacement surgery in May 2016. Everything went well and the eyes seem to be healing fine. Rita and Lenka, my initial points of contact, were easy to deal with and arranged hotel, transport and my itinerary for me. Would definitely recommend Praga Medica for similar surgery.

Единственно,хочу предостеречь всех, кто решился на данную операцию- лечите зубы заранее. Я неудачно воспользовалась услугами дантиста в Чехии, в Праге. Сумма была явно завышена в несколько раз, а зуб пришлось переделывать через полгода.Дантист был предоставлен клиникой Мальвазинки.

I recently used Praga Medical to arrange tummy tuck surgery. The pre-surgery information and liaison was second to none and couldn’t be faulted, and the support in Prague prior to surgery was superb.
However, unfortunate circumstances meant that I was unsupported in leaving the clinic after surgery and at my check up in the clinic a week later. Neither of these were a huge problem but I was left feeling very vulnerable having to make my way back to my hotel on my own just two days after major surgery in a city I didn’t know, with a taxi driver that couldn’t speak English. (Edit following businesses response – I was alone. My partner had not yet arrived in Prague when I was discharged. The agency was well aware of this! Really, not the best service, and some might say intolerable.)
However, follow up emails and information was great, the clinic they recommended exceeded my expectations and the hotel was perfectly acceptable.
Overall an OK experience.

I’d highly recommend Praga Medica for LASIK. I chose the Relex Smile option and I am very pleased with the results. I saved thousands of euro and it was a pain-free and interesting experience.

In particular the agent Jana Kachlova and interpreter Monika (from Slovakia) were outstanding. All questions were promptly answered and I felt in good hands and supported throughout from first email contact right through the process.

The first day was tests, the second the treatment and third the checkup. My vision outcome is not quite 20/20 but fully functional in general (it was -5:00 in each eye before treatment). The option I chose also comes with a lifetime guarantee.

The clinic is easily found and near a shopping centre and tram line. I’d suggest the Panorama Hotel as the best nearby. I stayed at Hotel Oya which is also close enough. It was just a bit soulless and dull.

Very pleased with the proceedure : anyone that is thinking of eye correction hesitate not : they totally look after you from the moment you step off the plane to the time you fly home : A very proffesional outfit : I am soooooooo chuffed had a great time and a Great result and saved a chunk of cash ……….

We have been to Praga Medica twice now for IVF. The first time was not successful, however the second time was and we are now pregnant.

All through both processes Jana looked after us very well, going well beyond her role as coordinator / translator. She made sure we considered every last detail to ensure our trip from overseas was seamlessly organised, including providing us with directions on how to transfer from the airport to the clinic, and offering to arrange accommodation and use of a mobile phone while in Prague.

The doctors at the clinic speak English, and the clinical staff speak a few words (enough to get your message across). They are all very efficient and make sure you are comfortable and well looked after, which is consistent with all Czechs I had the pleasure of meeting.

My personal preference was for my female doctor, Dr Monika Polakova. I credit her gentle nature and confidence for our success second time round.

One issue which I now consider a lesson learned is that the clinic freezes all embryos left from a fresh cycle together. This meant that I had no choice but to unfreeze all three remaining embryos and transfer the two viable ones which made it through the thaw. My specialist in Australia was dismayed that we were not given a choice, since it is protocol here to freeze all embryos separately. Her concern was the risk twins might have placed on my health. Also it would have been my preference to freeze the embryos separately since now I have no remaining embryos from this donor, and no chance for our child to have a genetically matched sibling. If I do have another round of IVF, I will know to ask to freeze the embryos separately.

Otherwise, Prague itself is a very beautiful city, so it was a pleasure rather than inconvenience that we found ourselves spending a few days waiting between appointments. The transit system is one of the most efficient and easy to get around on. There are many grocery stores and restaurants so it was no problem finding a great variety of food. And the demand for freshness and taste is apparent. I had forgotten what ‘farm fresh’ tasted like after so long.
